Evaluation of the “Breaking the cycle of exclusion for Roma children through Early Childhood Development and Education" in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Serbia and Albania

This report evaluates this multi-country project commissioned by UNICEF Albania that included 21 activities across different geographical areas of the three project countries

The report addressed the accessibility and availability of quality inclusive services in the fields of:

  • Early learning
  • Basic education
  • ECD- health for children aged 0-6

The evaluation aims to provide quality evidence and guidance to inform key stakeholders at national and county level (such as the Governments of the 3 programme countries, the UNICEF country offices and the UNICEF regional office, the ADA among other partners, donors and public authorities) in planning and delivering programmes/services for inclusion of the most vulnerable children in quality universal services.

The overall objective of this work is to improve equitable access of Roma children to Early Childhood Care and Education services.
