My name is Skye Bain and I am Consultant in the International Department. I am a Law School graduate from the University of Glasgow with specialization in European and International Law. Additionally, I hold a Master’s degree in International Human Rights Protection from the Universidad de Alcalá.
I have worked in the Communications and European Projects Departments of a Brussels-based umbrella NGO for service providers for persons with disabilities called European Platform for Rehabilitation (EPR). I have also been a Human Rights promoter in the International Cooperation area of the Spanish Red Cross. I have a long record working in the organization and management of projects and collaborating with entities and institutions working in social policies and human rights projects. During my career, I have also performed office management positions in the United Kingdom, Australia and Spain.
I joined Fresno in 2015 and my work has been centred in coordination, research and drafting of reports, studies and evaluation of the best practices in social inclusion, social protection and the rights of children and persons with disabilities. Furthermore, I oversee technical assistance for the design, management, implementation and justification of European projects (EASI and CERV) in the social policies, social innovation, accessibility, and human rights fields. I have 7 years´ experience in managing the preparation of proposals for national, European and international public tendering processes.
