International senior consultant, specialised in social policy and governance
Stefan Meyer is a political scientist (FU Berlin) and holds Master degrees in Public Health (TU Berlin) and Governance and Development (IDS Brighton).
With over 20 years of experience, he has worked on issues of social policies, social protection, aid effectiveness, conflict resolution, governance, health coverage, and adult education. In Fresno the right link, he has advised clients like UNICEF, OECD, the European Commission and third sector networks on policies of social protection, disabilities, child protection, Roma inclusion, and Sustainable Development, both in Europe and in the European neighbourhood.
In his career as social researcher and rights advocate, Stefan has worked in the public, academic, non-governmental, and private sector, such as the German Technical Cooperation in West Africa, the European think tank FRIDE, the advocacy department of Médicos del Mundo Spain as well as for private consultancy. Stefan combines a profound commitment to human rights with a sound technical knowledge on methodologies and policies.
Stefan is a German native speaker who is fluent in English and Spanish.
